Margaret Lo strengthens and empowers changemakers to thrive during challenging times and to take positive actions to make their lives, organizations, and communities better. She helps purpose-driven leaders pursue values-aligned lives that include self-care. Margaret enjoys helping leaders build active, hopeful, connected, and resilient lives.  

Margaret brings a unique, cross-sector perspective to coaching, facilitating, and consulting.  For over 10 years, Margaret has been an executive & life coach certified by the International Coaching Federation.  Moreover, for over 15 years, she has been a sustainability practitioner with a track record of leading cross-functional change with Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, universities, municipalities, utilities, and consultants. She thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating ambitious sustainability goals into tangible programs, policies, and partnerships that drive measurable environmental and business impact. She was most recently the Chief Sustainability Officer for Ball State University but also led sustainability efforts at George Mason University and University of Central Florida. Margaret also worked with the commercial real estate industry on policy compliance at the Institute for Market Transformation; promoted energy efficiency measures as a consultant with ICF and investor-owned utility Georgia Power; and reduced the environmental footprint of Fortune 500 companies with The Nature Conservancy. Margaret has an MBA and a BS in Business Management. When she is not working, she can be found exploring and hiking in beautiful nature preserves across the globe. Her ultimate quest is seeing all seven continents.
